The Emerging Pathogens Department has the expertise and facilities to perform projects with emerging and reemerging pathogens including biological threat agents up to and including Biosafety Level 3 (BSL-3) containment. The department has several dedicated laboratories with cutting-edge services available for discovery and development projects for grants, contracts, and commercial clients.
